If i'm not listening to NPR, what am i doing?

This Tumblr belongs to Fae. Posts may be reblogs or originals. Topics may include asexuality, gender, school, Doctor Who, music, NPR, and utter randomness. Fae is not good at thinking of interesting things to write. Beware the Dream Stick and the Bony Scythe (both sticks). Do not cross in the night. Bwahahahahaaaa!

Warning: Denizen of a community college writes here.

Warning: This person still doesn't know how to use Tumblr to its max.

...Who is this?

Ask me anything

i just spent a bunch of the late night/early morning reading xkcd.  i need to go to sleep.  It was still fun.

This post is another about Grandpa.

One last reason i’ve been off Tumblr

The first has caused the second, and this is how i try to calm down and keep myself away from others.

YouTube.

The main YouTubers i watch (though definitely not the only)?  HCBailly, deceasedcrab, BlueXephos, and kurtjmac.

Oh, by the way: NPR.  <33  i should turn my radio on more often.  i should wake up earlier so i don’t miss international news and weekend morning programs.  NPR is like a lovely sunrise i always am asleep during.  </3

Another reason i’ve been off Tumblr (and elsewhere)

i’m afraid that negativity may be contagious.  i don’t want to spread any of it.

Why did Grandma bring Grandpa home?

When i’m on the Yadaforum, i often end up wishing something along the lines of being able to post anonymously.  Without a face, name of any kind, or distinguishable voice, there’s less fear in saying things, even simple things.

We accept all girls in kindergarten through 12th grade as members. If a child identifies as a girl and the child’s family presents her as a girl, Girl Scouts of Colorado welcomes her as a Girl Scout. If a child is living as a girl, that’s good enough for us. We don’t require any proof of gender.

Looks like I’ll be buying a ton of cookies this year.

Go, Floor!

I will be gorging on Tagalongs and Trefoils after we start seeing the cookie booths.  Purr.

Cissexist bigot calls for a boycott of Girl Scout cookies, since the Girl Scouts include *all* girls, whether cisgender or not. I say, we have a Girl Scout buy-out instead, where we buy ALL the cookies to show our support for Girl Scouts of the USA's inclusiveness. →

Wow. Just… wow.

Taylor, who claims to have been a Girl Scout for eight years, says in the clip. “Girl Scouts describes itself as an all-girl experience. With that label, families trust that the girls will be in an environment that is not only nurturing and sensitive to girls’ needs, but also safe for girls.” … She goes on to note, “I am asking you to take action with me and boycott Girl Scout Cookies.” The video eventually concludes with a tagline for the Honest Girl Scouts site, which describes itself as a group “concerned with the alarming choices GSUSA has been making,” and “advocating for a change back to simply building girls of good character.”

GSUSA is still committed to building girls of good character. Better yet, GSUSA has finally taken a step forward to outspokenly, actively provide a safe, nurturing space for all girls. I’m genderqueer and I was a Girl Scout for 7+ years. Boycotting a GS fundraiser because of your bigotry is completely against everything you should have learned as a Girl Scout.

If someone has questions about GS cookies here’s a site that answers some cookie questions.  The first question is about cookie season.
